are-able Plan Management helps you manage the funding you receive from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). That funding can help you access the supports and services you need to achieve your goals and live an independent life.

One of the key roles of Plan Management is to process the claims from services you use, and manage your plan funding. Our dedicated Claims Team are committed to processing claims within five business days and pride themselves on building good relationships with local providers.

But it’s important to understand, we’re more than just a financial go-between.

We take the time to get to know you. We help you understand your NDIS plan funding, and what it can be used for. And we keep in touch at important times throughout the life of your plan.

are-able keeps you informed of your funding balance and gives you access to a real-time portal. So you’re always in control of your funding.

We pride ourselves on our dedicated team of Intake and Engagement staff. They offer one-on-one support, so you never feel like you’re dealing with a call centre. The idea is that you, and your team of providers and Support Coordination staff, all work together.

are-able has a long-standing history within the disability sector, operating as a not-for-profit Plan Manager, putting profits back into disability initiatives.

At are-able Plan Management you will never feel like you have reached a call center. When you call us, simple select if you would like to talk to someone about an invoice, or connect with your local Intake and Engagement worker and our friendly staff will be able to support your enquiry.

At are-able you are supported by the same person for the life of your plan, no need to repeat your story. We take the time to get to know each other, helping you to get the most out of your plan.

We have many local offices and outreach throughout country Victoria, allowing us to meet face to face with participants as required (location dependent). Additionally we can provide Plan Management services remotely, throughout all of Australia.

Your are-able plan manager is there to help you:

  • Monitor your plan funds.
  • Alert you if you are tracking to over spend or under spend your plan funds.
  • Support you with local support knowledge, pointing you in the right direction.
  • Working together with your team of services, including your Support Coordinator.
  • Supporting you and/or your Support Coordinator to access your funding information via our online portal.
  • Having up-to-date information on hand about all things NDIS.

How long will it take for my invoices to be paid?

At are-able Plan Management we process claims within 5 business days of approval. Often it is much faster.

Can I approve my invoices prior to processing?

You sure can. We have partnered with an online platform that allows you to approve each invoice as required. Or, if you prefer to streamline the process, you can auto approve invoices and then monitor activity via your monthly statement.

Can I talk to the same person when I call?

Yes, when you come across to us, you will be allocated a dedicated Intake and Engagement worker. Together we can get to know each other and ensure that you get the most out of your plan.
