are-able group comes together for National Reconciliation Week
Teams, participants and sites across the are-able group have come together to mark National Reconciliation Week 2026 through the All In Leaves of Country project.
As part of the project, staff and participants collected fallen native leaves from their local communities. Each leaf was decorated and included an acknowledgement of the Traditional Owners of the land where contributors live and work.

Together, the leaves form one collective artwork. Each contribution represents a local place, a personal reflection and a shared commitment to reconciliation through respect, learning and action.
The completed artwork will be framed and displayed at our Fairy Street site. Prints of the artwork will also be shared with sites across the are-able group, so each location can display the piece in its own community.
Thank you to every participant, staff member and site who took part. Your contributions have helped create a meaningful symbol of are-able being all in for reconciliation.
