are-able CEO Connects with Mildura Participants and Staff
At are-able, we believe local connection matters, listening, learning, and responding to what people and communities tell us. Recently, our CEO had the opportunity to visit our Mildura site, spending time with participants and meeting with the staff who deliver supports across the region.
The visit created space for open, respectful conversation. Our CEO listened to participants’ experiences, their goals, and what helps them move towards greater independence and employment pathways. She also met with the Mildura team to better understand what the local service environment looks like right now, including the strengths of the community and the challenges people may be navigating.
These conversations help are-able continue to improve how we work alongside people, so supports remain practical, local, and responsive. By staying connected to participants and staff, we strengthen our understanding of what matters most and how we can best support people to build skills, confidence, and meaningful participation in work and community life.
We look forward to continuing our work in Mildura and building on these valuable local connections.
