Learn the skills and knowledge required to safely prepare, administer and document medication, and support clients to self-administer medication.

Successful completion of this nationally recognised unit will provide students with a Statement of Attainment.

Students will learn how to

  • Prepare and administer medication safely

  • Support clients to self-administer medication

  • Complete medication documentation accurately

This course is suitable for community services and health workers who are authorised to assist with the administration of medication in their state or territory.
