Celebrating Women’s Achievements and Opportunities in Our Portland Community

At are-able, we believe in the power of community and the importance of celebrating the diverse talents and contributions of all people. We were delighted to participate in two significant events in Portland recently, both focused on recognising and empowering women in our local area.

Our team attended the launch of the Bunnings Trade Women In Apprenticeships Awards Breakfast. This wonderful initiative highlights the valuable contributions women make in trades and encourages more women to pursue these rewarding career pathways. We are committed to supporting people to build skills, confidence, and pathways to meaningful work, and seeing women thrive in all industries is something we champion.

We also had the privilege of attending the International Women’s Day Luncheon, a vibrant gathering that celebrated the strength, leadership, and achievements of women across the Portland and District Community. It was inspiring to connect with local leaders and community members, reinforcing our shared vision for a more inclusive and equitable future. Events like these are vital for fostering connections and building a supportive network for everyone.
