Ashlee’s Path to a Career She Loves

When Ashlee Williams first enrolled in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2022, she wasn’t just starting a course, she was beginning a journey that would shape her career and her confidence.

After completing her Certificate III in 2023, Ashlee didn’t slow down. She stepped straight into the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2024 and successfully completed it in July this year, all while working full time in the sector.

Across her studies, Ashlee worked in several early childhood services in Horsham, gaining experience, building her skills, and finding her place in the industry. Her dedication paid off when she secured a permanent full-time role as a Diploma Educator at Horsham Uniting Early Learning.

Balancing full-time work, family commitments, and study over three years was no small feat, but Ashlee stayed focused on her goal to become a qualified early childhood educator making a difference in the lives of children.

Her trainer, Cindy Hammond, has watched her grow both personally and professionally throughout her studies. Ashlee’s enthusiasm, persistence, and commitment to learning stood out from day one.

Ashlee reflects on her journey with pride and gratitude:
