Empowering Ballarat Individuals: How are-able Foundation’s Grant Supports the Ballarat community BGT’s ‘Styled for Success’ Initiative
are-able Foundation and Ballarat Group Training (BGT) have joined hands to support the “Styled for Success” initiative, which offers free services to individuals facing job interview rejections, long-term unemployment, homelessness, or mental illness. Through our Community Foundation Grants, our Foundation is providing financial assistance to community projects and initiatives like BGT’s “Styled for Success” that empower individuals and help them overcome challenges on their path to success.
Our Foundation’s Community Grant has enabled BGT to set up a dedicated warehouse for the “Styled for Success” program. The warehouse includes changing rooms where clients can try on their new outfits and feel comfortable and confident in their choices. The grant also allowed for the order of new carpet, which will soon be installed, enhancing the overall experience for program participants.
Andrea Hogan, Director of Communications and Engagement at are-able, said, “are-able firmly believes in the power of community and the importance of empowering individuals to reach their full potential. We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals in the Ballarat community, and we believe in the value of initiatives like ‘Styled for Success’.”
Emma, Operations and Facilities Manager at BGT, said, “We would like to say a huge thank you to our Foundation for providing the funding for this project. This has been a significant help in ensuring that we can offer a professional and welcoming service to our clients.”
Our Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals in the Ballarat community. By supporting initiatives like “Styled for Success,” the foundation is empowering individuals and helping them overcome challenges on their path to success. Together with BGT, our Foundation looks forward to seeing the positive impact “Styled for Success” will continue to make in the Ballarat community.
